If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a police officer or what they do this is your chance to find out! The Junior Police Academy is free of charge and open to all residents of South River who are scheduled to attend 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall of 2025. Registration info and details coming soon!

(4/11/2024) The South River Police Department is reminding residents about the Middlesex County Special Needs Registry. A joint effort between the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and the South River Police Department, this free voluntary program provides useful information to first responders in order to better assist those with a mental or physical disability during an emergency or police encounter. (1/31/2023) The South River Police Department is conducting an information session through the South River Office on Aging to educate older residents about fraud and scams that may target them. To help our efforts, click here to download the Elder Fraud Brochure then print and share it with older neighbors and family members who may not otherwise see it. Copies can also be obtained at Police Headquarters and through the South River Office on Aging.
