(3/11/2024) Are you interesting in taking a more active role in crime prevention and safety in your neighborhood? Join us as we introduce South River River's Neighborhood Watch program. The kickoff meeting takes place on Thursday, April 25th at 6:00 PM at a location to be determined closer to the date. To help us determine the space needed for the meeting, attendees are requested to register prior to the meeting. To register, click here. (1/21/2024) Save the dates! Our 15th annual Junior Police Academy will be held from June 24th through June 28th. If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a police officer or what they do this is your chance to find out! The Junior Police Academy is free of charge and open to all residents of South River who are scheduled to attend 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall of 2024. Registration info and details coming soon!

(10/3/2023) As part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 28th, South River Police Department is asking residents to check their medicine cabinets. (1/31/2023) The South River Police Department is conducting an information session through the South River Office on Aging to educate older residents about fraud and scams that may target them. To help our efforts, click here to download the Elder Fraud Brochure then print and share it with older neighbors and family members who may not otherwise see it. Copies can also be obtained at Police Headquarters and through the South River Office on Aging.
